I decided to look up ‘flag@whitehouse.gov outrage’ on Google and it returned 29 million ‘hits’. Wow! The entire ‘flag @’ was set up yesterday.

What is ‘flag@whitehouse.gov’? It is some White House doofus‘ idea to have ordinary citizens report their neighbors to the authorities for ‘disagreeing’ with White House policy.

Really! The audacity of any American disagreeing with Obama about something! How dare they?

Let me get one thing straight right off the bat:

Obama, your health plan sucks!

Talk about tone- deaf! What could Obama be thinking? I guess he never got to the ‘Constitution’ part in his Constitutional law classes!

His economic policy is nothing more than the Treasury shoveling cash by the truckload @ auto unions, investment banks, REIT’s and other well connected campaign contributors, with no control over monetary policy which is nothing more than rapidly recycling Treasury debt into stocks and oil.

The bottom- line outcome of this is a widespread increase in American poverty. For many citizens, there is no bottom; house gone, job gone, savings and retirement gone … that flat screen is small consolation. In the intersection between the haves and the have- nots, there lies the greatest danger for this president. Any small thing can blow itself up into a political catastrophe.

This is why I pay attention to the ‘birthers‘ not because they are so clever, but because the issue can only be dealt with one way; for Obama to produce his bona– fide documents. If he doesn’t and the economy makes another turn to the South, the calls for his birth certificate will become louder. At some point the calls themselves will become the issue, rather than the certificate. The situation will switch from distracting to interactive. The birth certificate will become a lever by which the disappointed and the disenfranchised can eject him from his presidency in disgrace.

Given the chance, the people will certainly eject, too!

Obama has no natural constituency; he is black as are 10% of Americans … but so is Bubba. A failed black president has ‘blackness’ value, even if he is removed his ascendancy will still count. The ‘election game’ is hence over for Obama. Currently, the progressives despise him for his ‘Bush- lite’ approach and the conservatives hate him for his race. In between the great American middle pauses and reflects. In this crisis time, a few more missteps and plug will be pulled on the Obama experiment.

For Obama, there is too much hubris in too short a period of time. Step one is to start telling the Americans the truth. Our oil- based economic paradigm is finished, we all need to work together to do more than simply survive. We need to abandon that which has clearly failed and embrace the uncomfortable ‘new’.

All of those who failed us and profited by such must be held accountable. This is the president’s primary job as executive, to maintain the rule of law.

Asking citizens to snitch on neighbors is not maintaining the rule of law.
